From setup to cleanup, Chef Andrew takes care of everything, so you and your guests can relax, connect, and savor an unforgettable dining experience.

For an elevated touch, plated service is available for a small upcharge, given adequate workspace and staffing.

How Our Personal Chef Services Works

1. Plan

Begin selecting the package and dishes you want featured on your menu. Submit your menu selections, dietary restrictions, and event details.

2. Book

Complete your event forms, plan your event details with Chef Andrew, and submit the deposit to book your event.

3. Enjoy

You can now leave the rest up to The Mindful Chef. Chef Andrew will handle all food preparations while you spend your time out of the kitchen.

  • Pricing & Rates
    The Mindful Chef's service rates are customized to reflect the unique details of your event. Pricing is determined by: Menu Selections – The complexity, ingredients, and style of your chosen dishes. Service Package – From intimate plated dinners to full-service events, tailored to your needs. Guest Count – Adjusted to accommodate the size of your gathering. Location – Travel distance and venue setup requirements. Event Date – Availability, seasonality, and special date considerations. Each event is thoughtfully designed to provide a seamless, high-quality dining experience. Contact Chef Andrew to receive a personalized quote based on your vision.
  • Additional Pricing Information
    All rates do not include: Tax – Applicable taxes will be added to your final total. Gratuity – While optional, gratuity is always appreciated as a reflection of exceptional service. The Mindful Chef is committed to providing an unforgettable dining experience. If you have any questions regarding pricing or tipping, feel free to reach out.
  • Event Services
    Plated Dining – A refined culinary experience where each course is thoughtfully plated and elegantly served by Chef Andrew and his team. Ideal for those seeking a high-touch dining experience with seamless service. Additional staff and service fees apply. Availability may be limited; please inquire for details. Self-Serve Buffet – A beautifully arranged selection of expertly prepared dishes, designed for guests to serve themselves at their leisure. This option offers a relaxed yet elevated dining experience, perfect for social gatherings and celebrations.
  • Reserve Your Event Date
    To secure your event date, a signed contract and a 50% retainer of the estimated total cost are required. After your menu is selected and finalized, an estimate and contract will be prepared for your review and signature. This retainer ensures your booking and allows for proper planning and preparation. Refunds may be available under specific conditions—please refer to the Terms & Conditions for full details.
  • Event Minimums
    A minimum event charge of $1,000 applies to all bookings. For events outside of South Lake Tahoe, pricing starts at $1,200.
