What area do you serve?
We proudly provide chef services throughout Lake Tahoe, encompassing the greater Tahoe Basin and beyond. TMC is always happy to travel if feasible. Please note that a travel fee will be applied to locations outside of South Lake Tahoe, CA.
Do you prepare the food off-site & offer drop offs?
As a personal chef, I take pride in sourcing all ingredients right before your event and performing all food preparations on-site in your venue's kitchen. This unique approach grants you the luxury of having a professional chef in your kitchen, guaranteeing the freshness and quality of your meal.
How long will you be at our location?
Events require approximately 6-8 hours (occasionally more) at your location to prepare, execute, and cleanup.
Meal Prep requires approximately 4-6 hours (occasionally more) at your location depending on the complexity of your menu.
What is your minimum investment?
Private dining events begin at $2,500, which reflects the time, preparation, staffing, and ingredient sourcing required to deliver an elevated in-home dining experience.
For select weekday, last-minute, or very local events, a $2,000 minimum may be available depending on availability and scope.
Do you have a minimum guest count?
No. I do not have a minimum guest count—however, all events must meet the minimum investment. Smaller, intimate gatherings are welcome when the scope aligns with this threshold.
Does peak season effect availability?
During peak season (late May–early October), availability is limited and demand is high. For smaller groups, bookings are typically accepted closer to the event date unless the event meets a higher minimum. Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis once booking is finalized.
Do you provide dishes & settings?
TMC asks that guests provide plateware, glassware, and silverware, along with the kitchen of course.
We will be bringing the platters, utensils, placemats, napkins & seasonal flowers to tie everything together.
Do you accommodate allergies & dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! With a few minor adjustments, most of TMC's dishes can be modified to meet your specific guidelines.
We will ensure that everyone can enjoy their meal stress free.
Do you offer alcohol or wine services.
Unfortunately, these are services that we currently do not offer. We like to stick to what we do best, food.
We are always happy to suggest beverage pairings to go with your menu, and top off any wine glasses during your meal.
How do I get a quote for my event?
To provide you with an accurate quote, I kindly request your selection of dishes for your event. This is important as the cost of groceries is included in the quotation. You can do this by either submitting a contact form, or completing my event questionnaire.
What forms of payment do you take?
We gladly accept Visa and Mastercard payments through your event invoice for all deposits and scheduled payments.
Final balances and gratuity may also be settled in person at the conclusion of your event via cash or Venmo, if preferred.
