ABOUT THE MINDFUL CHEF

Hello! 

I’m Andrew, a proud California native with roots that stretch from the rugged Northern California coast to the majestic Sierra Mountains. Living in a place as abundant, diverse, and inspiring as this has shaped not only my outlook on life but also my approach to food and community.

With over 23 years in the food industry—18 of those as a professional chef—I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible talents who’ve influenced my journey and helped me refine my craft.

Beyond cooking, I lead a vibrant, active lifestyle that has deepened my understanding of nutrition and the vital role a thoughtful diet plays in supporting a thriving, energetic life. My passion is creating food with purpose—meals that nourish, delight, and inspire.

Over the years, my approach to food has evolved, rooted in a commitment to sourcing locally, responsibly, and sustainably. For me, every dish begins with intention and is prepared with care and love. This mindfulness extends to every ingredient I choose and every meal I create, and it’s something I’m excited to share with you.

Today marks an exciting new chapter in my journey. My mission is to deepen my connection with the farmers and artisans who bring our food to life, explore the land that sustains us, and continue learning and sharing along the way—all while crafting incredible meals.
